A day later, FAA says call ahead to check on flight delays
By NECN
(NECN) - Most flights are expected to be back to normal today at airports around New England. But yesterday it was a different story. Flights at three dozen major airports, including Logan, were halted when computers malfunctioned at an FAA center in Atlanta. That facility handles flight plans for the eastern half of the United States. Officials say say there were no safety issues. To be safe airlines are still recommending that travelers call ahead and check on their flights this morning.
