(NECN) - Stocks give up an early advance to end the day in the red. The Dow Jones industrial average falls more than two points, closing at 10,194. The Nasdaq composite drops seven to finish at nearly 2,204. The s-and-P 500 is off almost five, ending the day at 1,092. Regionally -- Bloomberg’s New England index slips two points.
