(NECN: Ally Donnelly, Lowell, Mass.) - The tapes are the the talk of Lowell, Massachusetts. YouTube clips featuring teenagers, often girls, punching, kicking, fighting with each other. Now, city leaders are responding. A 15-year-old from Wang Middle School was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The weapon was rings on the girl's fingers. Police say all of the people in the videos appear to be young, and the fights occur all while a crowd is watching. Police say it's not staged, and the videos are very disturbing. An investigation is ongoing.
