Wyclef 'definitely' has hope more people are in rubble

(NECN/ABC: Port-au-Prince, Haiti) - Recording artist Wyclef Jean, Haiti's biggest star and the man behind the Yele fundraising effort, arrived in Haiti Sunday afternoon. He landed at Dominican Republic embassy in Port au Prince. He was headed to various points throughout the city to meet officials and distribute aid to people in the streets. "Today we have a massive food distribution, but we're doing it a little different -- the food is going to be cooked," Jean said. "We're going to try to reach as much people as we can." Jean said it was important for him and his people to stay on the ground for some time, in order to provide aid. He pointed to recent examples of "Haitian people don't die, they don't die," Jean said. "I definitely have hope (that) there's more people in the rubble. After seeing the child come out after eight days with his hands up, we definitely believe that there's hope."
